With over a decade of experience in resolving constituent issues, Amy Peck knows what it takes to find solutions, navigate complicated governmental agencies, and get results. As the chief of staff for Council Member Brenda Stardig since 2014, she has already been serving the citizens of District A. Amy will continue the quality customer service and advocacy that you are accustomed to in this office. As her role as chief of staff, Amy has a unique understanding of the needs of the district. She knows where we were and where we are going. Amy will demand that all the projects promised to District A get fulfilled.
Before working with Council Member Stardig, Amy worked for as then-State Senator Dan Patrick’s District Director and for Senator Jon Lindsay in both his Austin and Houston offices.
Amy volunteers her time to many organizations and currently serves on the board of the Duncan YMCA in Spring Branch. While getting her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Houston, Amy counseled at the VA Hospital in Houston where she assisted returning veterans who suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)r, helping them receive the resources, benefits, and psychological support they so badly needed.
In addition to the master’s degree, Amy also holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Psychology and Government from the University of Texas-Austin. Amy has the educational background and hands-on experience to help our community and is a life-long Houstonian dedicated to serving those around her.
Amy Peck lives in Spring Branch with her husband, Jayson, their daughter, Abigail, and their two dogs, Charlie and Lucy.
